Come join us this Friday for gallery hopping in the Grand Art Center for February’s ArtTalk. We will visit the Sheldon Art Galleries, Craft Alliance and the Contemporary Art Museum. It is opening night for Imagining the Founding of St. Louis at the Sheldon, an exhibit that is commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the French settlement of St. Louis. It is also opening night for Craft Alliance’s Fail-Safe which features a range of art forms that are made with seemingly ‘safe’ and comforting materials from everyday life but loaded with incendiary content. Both exhibits are sure to be interesting and inspiring!
We will meet at the Sheldon at 7pm inside the first floor galleries (look for the Midrash sign). We will be walking to the other galleries so be sure to dress warm and wear walking shoes!
